Our ProgramsLittle Dragons: This beginning martial arts program for children ages 4 through 7 stresses on preparing younger students for taking classes with the older junior students. Classes focus on high-energy drills to increase balance, coordination, focus, and respect. We teach and instill basic developmental skills that will show up in many aspects of life, such as: showing proper manners, improved listening skills, self control of one's actions and attitudes, learning to participate in group activities, and getting along well with others. Junior Programs: We understand that younger students have a shorter attention span. Our unique junior's program uses interesting and enjoyable methods to keep the student's attention and teach the students skills that they can use for life. We promote non-violent resolutions to conflict. Our methods help children explore and understand conflict through role-play and other exercises. They will develop concentration, character, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, self-esteem, respect for self and others, and a positive attitude. Martial Arts are also effective in helping children develop the confidence to handle the stress of today's school environment, as well as improving their grades and conduct. Our program teaches practical, proven self-defense methods, and more importantly we teach children how to avoid trouble in the first place through the Stranger Danger awareness program. Martial Arts provides many positive traits that will help your child throughout life! Adult Programs: When you begin your training, your age, gender, or current physical condition REALLY doesn’t matter. Everyone begins with the basics and then naturally moves toward more advanced techniques. You work at your own pace and training in Martial Arts is anything but boring. It's a high energy, fat burning, stress reducing, and super charged workout. Lose weight, get in shape, increase flexibility, improve muscle tone & cardiovascular endurance, and relieve stress while learning self-defense. This is only the start. Physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of valuable skills, both mental and spiritual. |
